About
Humans helping Humans.
A private network for warm introductions, built by someone who spent 20 years watching which ones actually mattered.
Why this exists
Cold outbound stopped working because it stopped being human. Generated sequences, scraped lists and automated personalisation flooded every channel at once, and the cost fell on the people who were never trying to game anything: buyers who now ignore everything, and sellers who now get ignored.
The context that actually moves a deal has always come from a trusted conversation. Someone who knows both sides says, quietly, you two should talk. That introduction arrives with credibility attached, and it cannot be automated into existence.
Consigliere is an attempt to run that pattern deliberately, at slightly more than personal scale, without becoming the thing it replaces. No directory to be listed in. No contact upload. Nothing scraped. Every introduction mutual, and reviewed by a person before it is offered.
How it behaves
- Participants share context about what they are working on and who would be useful to meet.
- Strong pairs are scored by a fixed, explainable calculation, not a vibe and not a black box.
- Both people read a blind description of the other, with identifying details removed, and both must opt in before names are exchanged.
- A human reviews before anything is sent. Fewer, better introductions is the whole point.
If there is no highly qualified fit, we wait. Chasing volume is what broke outbound.
Who is behind it
Consigliere is founded and run by Josh Gillespie.
Josh has spent nearly 20 years in San Francisco technology sales. He was a founding account executive and later Enterprise Sales Director at PandaDoc, where he helped scale the company from zero to 100 million dollars in annual recurring revenue and closed more than 1,000 logos. Before that he was at Yelp, pre-IPO.
That is the background the network is built on: two decades of watching which introductions actually change a company’s quarter, and which outreach only fills a report.
He also reads every application and every email to josh@consigliere.so himself, and takes founder discovery calls through the 30-minute booking page.
The rest of the team
There is not one yet, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. No co-founders, no advisory board, no investor logos and no stock photographs of a team that does not exist. Members are private by design and are never listed here.
When that changes, this section will say who joined and what they do. Until then, the person behind the introduction is the person named above.
