Terms
The short version of the deal.
Tell us who you want to reach. The count is an estimate, discovery is a conversation, and an introduction requires permission on both sides.
Effective October 7, 2026.
1. Who we are and what these Terms cover
Distinguished Automations, Inc. d/b/a Consigliere ("Consigliere," "we," "us") is a Delaware C-corporation operating from San Francisco, California. These Terms describe the rules for our website, founder go-to-network intake, estimated matching results, and discovery booking. Our mailing address and contact details are below.
A website visit, form submission, or discovery booking is not a signed services agreement or a commitment to buy. Paid go-to-network, advisory, consulting, coaching, or other work requires a separate agreement signed by you and Consigliere. That agreement governs the engagement and controls over these Terms if they conflict about that work.
2. Eligibility and accurate information
The service is intended for adults pursuing legitimate professional opportunities. You must be at least 18 and able to enter into an agreement. If you request work for a business, you must have authority to represent it.
Use an email address you control and provide information you reasonably believe is accurate. Either a personal or business email works. We do not independently verify your identity, employment, credentials, or authority merely because you submit the form. Do not impersonate anyone or submit another person's private information without permission.
3. Email, customer profile, and the estimated count
On the start page, email is required. The type of business and stakeholder persona in your ideal customer profile (ICP) are optional. We record your submission and the estimated count, alert our operator through configured internal tools, and may follow up about your request. See Omertà , our privacy notice, for information handling and how to contact us about your information.
The scan compares keywords and related terms from your ICP with company and position fields in a private, locally stored export of Josh's LinkedIn connections. It is not a live LinkedIn search or API lookup, a verified qualification assessment, or a check that anyone wants to hear from you. The export may be stale or incomplete, and keyword matching can miss relevant people or count irrelevant ones. A zero result may reflect missing or unrecognized input or unavailable index data, not the absence of potential connections.
The scan returns only an aggregate estimate, not private names or contact records. The separate Friends of Ours proof roster includes public names and profiles. Appearing there does not establish current availability, consent to an introduction, or willingness to buy. Neither the count nor the roster gives you access to the private index. Consigliere is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn.
4. Discovery, engagements, and fees
After the scan, you can follow a Calendly link to book discovery. Discovery is a free conversation about your goals, fit, scope, and possible commercial terms. Submitting the form, booking discovery, or attending discovery does not initiate prospect outreach, create a billable sales-qualified lead (SQL), or mean you have agreed to pay. There is no fee for the scan or this discovery conversation.
For the go-to-network service, the fee trigger is a completed qualified prospect call, not merely an accepted introduction or a booked call. Both you (or your agreed representative) and the introduced prospect must attend and complete the conversation, and the prospect and call must meet the qualification criteria agreed in the signed engagement. A discovery call with Consigliere, a booking confirmation, an introduction alone, a cancelled call, or a no-show is not that billable event. A rescheduled call is not billable unless and until it is completed and qualifies. Qualification, completion evidence, duplicate-call treatment, invoicing, and disputes must be defined in the engagement; a sale or revenue outcome is not promised.
There is no fixed minimum fee for the go-to-network service. Rates are mutually negotiated for each signed engagement. Any fee you propose, including $0, is an expression of what a qualified conversation is worth to you, not an accepted price, authorization to charge, or agreement for free work. An estimate or internal rate placeholder is also not an agreed price. A proposal is not automatically accepted or raised to another amount.
Before prospect outreach or any fees, you and Consigliere must sign a separate engagement expressly approving the mutually negotiated USD rate and agreeing the work, qualification criteria, completed-call trigger, payment terms, and cancellation or refund terms. Different advisory, consulting, or coaching work has its own signed scope and pricing. Payment for work does not purchase anyone's consent, contact details, or guaranteed availability.
5. Permission before introductions
Every introduction requires affirmative permission from both sides. Requesting help, receiving a count, booking discovery, or paying for an engagement does not supply another person's permission. We review fit and obtain bilateral permission before making an introduction or sharing private identifying or direct contact details for it.
Either side may decline. Do not try to identify someone from blind or private context, bypass a refusal, or use private information for independent outreach. Public proof profiles are distinct from private introduction context; publication of a profile is not consent to an introduction or solicitation through this service.
6. Permitted use and safety
Use the website for legitimate professional inquiry. Do not:
- Scrape, bulk-download, resell, publish, or build a directory from service information, or attempt to extract private index records.
- Use repeated queries or combine results with other data to identify people behind aggregate counts or blind descriptions.
- Bypass access, rate limits, security, or permission controls; interfere with the website; or probe private systems without authorization.
- Use the service for spam, unsolicited automated outreach, harassment, surveillance, impersonation, deception, or unlawful activity.
We may restrict requests or access to address misuse, security risks, or unlawful conduct. You may stop using the website at any time or email us to withdraw an inquiry. Any active paid engagement ends under its own agreement, not merely by stopping website use.
7. Your information and our intellectual property
You retain rights in information you submit. You give us limited permission to store and use it as reasonably needed to assess your request, generate the estimate, communicate with you, operate and secure the service, and meet legal obligations. Submission alone does not give us permission to use your name, likeness, logo, or attributable statements in public marketing. Any proposed introduction still requires the permissions described above.
Consigliere and its licensors retain rights in the website's original content, design, software, methods, and branding. You may read the website and use its available functions for their intended purpose. These Terms do not transfer ownership of our intellectual property or third-party materials, or grant a license to redistribute the private index. Nothing here restricts rights that applicable law gives you, including lawful quotation or honest reviews.
8. Third-party tools and independent decisions
Calendly provides external booking under its own terms and privacy notice. Hosting, email, and internal collaboration tools, including Duet when configured, support our operations. Third-party websites and tools have their own practices and may be unavailable or change. Linking to a tool or public profile is not an endorsement of every claim or practice of that third party.
You are responsible for evaluating people, businesses, proposals, and any transaction you choose to enter. Consigliere does not provide legal, tax, investment, or other regulated professional advice through this website and is not a law firm, broker-dealer, or guarantor of a transaction. A discovery conversation does not create an attorney-client or fiduciary relationship.
9. Estimates, not promises
We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of an estimate, export, or public profile; contact availability; any introduction; a response; a booked prospect call; or a sale, funding, revenue, or other outcome. A count is not a commitment to deliver that many introductions or meetings.
To the extent permitted by law, the website and estimated results are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. This does not replace express promises in a signed engagement or limit any warranty, duty, or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Liability and rights that remain yours
To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable to the other under these website Terms for indirect or consequential losses, including speculative lost business or profits, arising from website use or reliance on an estimated count. Liability for paid work is addressed in the separate signed engagement.
No disclaimer or limitation in these Terms excludes responsibility for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, injury to a person, unlawful conduct, or any liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited. Nothing waives mandatory consumer or privacy rights, statutory remedies, or other nonwaivable protections. If a limitation is not permitted in your circumstances, it does not apply to that extent.
11. California law and disputes
California law governs these website Terms, except to the extent mandatory law provides otherwise. Subject to those mandatory rights and applicable jurisdiction rules, disputes about these Terms may be brought in the state courts in San Francisco County, California, or the federal courts serving San Francisco, California.
Nothing requires arbitration, waives a jury trial or class proceeding, prevents a report to a regulator, or removes a right to bring a claim in another forum where mandatory law allows it. A separately signed engagement may have its own dispute terms.
12. Changes
We may update the website and these Terms and will show the effective date here. Material changes will be identified on the website or communicated directly when appropriate. We will seek separate agreement where required by law rather than treating an earlier submission or booking as acceptance of new obligations. Changes do not retroactively alter a signed engagement or create a fee for an earlier inquiry.
13. Contact and notices
